Minutes of meeting 10th October 2023.

Correspondence Out: Letter of resignation C&CBFA Delegate.

Ring Stewards Report: Kieran Egan outline that the club has plenty of Coopex but, rings on hand are limited at this time.
C&CBFA Report: Mark provided feedback in relation to the C&CBFA Sept 23 meeting. Mark advised that he forwarded the Shoalhaven Avicultural Societies position in relation the posting of political information on social media. Mark advised also that as a result of the split in thinking within the C&CBFA several member including himself resigned from their positions within the Federation with effect immediately.
John Boyle moved a motion to continue with the club insurance through the C&CBFA for a period of 12 months and the review our position next year. Seconded by Niel Leishman with a majority of the members present agreeing to motion.
General Business
1. Ray Faulds advised that the 2024 Aviary tour is cancelled due to not enough participant to make the trip cost effective for members. He was also unsuccessful in securing a bus at this time.
2. All members wishing to attend the clubs Christmas party are to submit and pay for their menu choices by the November meeting. Late menus will not be accepted.
3. Mark thanked all club members who attended the September working bee at David & Kathy Chapman’s. He especially thanked David & Kathy for providing morning tea and lunch.
